Birthday Parties at the Zoo!
|
 Have a party your child will remember for years to come at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Make a lasting impression with a Zoo animal guest, a critter craft, and a ride on our colorful carousel. Parties are available on Saturday or Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. year – round. Packages are based on a maximum of 15 children, other guests can be added for an additional fee.

Birthday Party Packages
Basic Package: $200 for members/$225 for non-members
Includes:
- Zoo admission for each party guest and their accompanying adult
- Zoo staff party coordinator
- Section of the Carousel Building for 1 ½ hours
- 4 Carousel rides per child
- A special gift for the birthday child
- 2 Large Cheese Pizzas
- Two 2 liter bottles of soda (choices are at the bottom of the page)
Zoo Party Package: $250 for members/$275 for non-members
Includes:
- Critter Craft - visors, door hangers, animal face fans, frog & turtle boxes
- Zoo party paper goods (including plates, napkins, cups, forks & tablecloth)
- Zoo admission for each party guest and their accompanying adult
- Zoo staff party coordinator
- Section of the Carousel Building for 1 ½ hours
- 4 Carousel rides per child
- A special gift for the birthday child
- 2 Large Cheese Pizzas
- Two 2 liter bottles of soda (choices are at the bottom of the page)
Animal Encounter Package: $300 for members/$325 for non-members
A Birthday Party Animal Encounter is a great way to make you child's party extra-special with a Zoo animal guest. For twenty minutes a Zoo Educator will bring out one of our Education Department animals for all the party children to meet. They'll get a chance to touch the animal and learn all about its amazing habits and adaptations. Each Animal Encounter features one animal only but you can choose from mammal, reptile, bird or "creepy crawly" depending upon your child's special interest.
Includes:
- Animal Encounter
- Zoo party paper goods (including plates, napkins, cups, forks & tablecloth)
- Zoo admission for each party guest and their accompanying adult
- Zoo staff party coordinator
- 4 Carousel rides per child
- A special gift for the birthday child

Cost per additional child and their accompanying adult - $15.00
Cost per additional adults - $8.00
Cost per additional Pizza & soda combo - $12.50
